WooHoo! Potty Progress.

I'm so thrilled. Zoe used the potty three times today at her own initiative! One time she didn't even tell me first, I just found her in the bathroom taking her diaper off. This is major progress!

I have figured out how to climb out of my crib. heehee. I think I am going to get a big kid bed soon!

Two-Teen

Zoe is not quite two, but if being 2 is defined by irrational tantrums she is an accomplished 2 year old already. A teenage-two. They usually sound like this:

"NNoooooo! Nothing! Don't Look At Me! Don't Talk About It! Noooo! Wahhhhhhh! No No No!"

Getting Dressed

Zoe chose her outfit before going to the library

today. A process that involves spending ages taking

everything out of her dresser as she says repeatedly, "wear dis?....nooooo". Eventually she selected pants, a skirt, two t-shirts, and a sweater. Then she also wanted to wear both her rain coat and her winter coat. And her monster hat too.

Mom: "Let's go get a new diaper."
Zoe: "No, I don't [t]hink so. Maybe next year."

she was saying "maybe next time" all the time, all of a sudden it is "maybe next year." Where did she get that? She cracks me up.
